CHALKY TOMBSTONES
Chalky tombstones
Where Black Sheep sometimes graze
Shone, as pleated wrinkles upon its face
No force nor imminent intuition
Can alter life's diurnal course
For darkness dices all on its own
Like onyx chips from chalky tombstones
That lone cubicle, where death reports

Chalky tombstones
Fragmented dust in wilting shadows
Falls sleep as withering shapes
I draw my fingers along my face
And skim along beneath the neckline
Where anticipation, is rawness traced
And the light inside your limitlessness
Is what I struggle to embrace

Chalky tombstones remind me not of a difference
Between one hour of life and another
They shine the basement light on, the 'stored away'
Embrace those smooth cool stones with me brother
Help to end my pain with vigorously uncommon restraint
There's so much death, so many funeral pyres
Burning across the accents of my life
I dare not bend again to bring comfort to these old bones
Time to bury darkness, beneath the clouds of Chalky Tombstones...

YES!!...JAI MASTERS!!....I was SO hoping someone would catch this one....I posted it last night and it went unnoticed.....I hate it when I write one that I'm actually proud of.,,,.and then (for whatever reason) no one gets to see it.....because, for me, it's ALWAYS the feedback that helps me on my edit or rewrite!!.....bevause I normally rewrite everything at least once and I know I'm going to do more work on this one.....so THANK YOU my friend!!.....for keeping me excited about this one!!!.....you're awesome bro!!.....LOVE to you and yours.....amd thanx again!!......smiles.....T xo ?âłâŽââ„â„
