GIVING UP ON LOVE

Dark rays of compulsive hate

exude from soulless souls and he is one.

I try and reach out

extending love to hateful eyes, and scorned

this gremlin is greener than green.

Peace becomes unrest

as I become a target of his crimes.

I will meditate

for the Light of the Universe is around me

and I will no longer succumb.

Giving up the chance to be loved

is a scarring that never heals

and those that walk in these shadows

stain the World with their Karma.

Dark eyes of contemptuous hate

will never sleep

in the lair of peace and harmony

for their war mongering cries

shall wake the dead of unforgiven deeds.

I still cry for these chapters as they close

for to be human

is a Graceful existence unknown and unsworn.

Only by the proxy of the Devil

do we fall

from the tracks and derail these illusions.
