Truly sorry for late reply BM...truly appreciate your support my friend...yes they grow but where do all those little people go...I certainly can't see the five year old in my grown up son...lol ??
I can still see the little ones in my grown up kids. Their characters have always been the same, so much so that I recognise now that their characters were there even when I was pregnant. For example, my youngest absolutely hates the idea of being upside down. Wont go on rides that put him in that position. He says he has always had a fear of being upside down. He doesnt even know why and he is a very adventurous sort. But...he was a breech baby! So the fear of being upside down could have been with him then. Sorry for the long reply ? x
Oh don't be...it's a beautiful reply and you could be right about the breech baby...makes sense. Seriously though, yes of course the personality traits are still there but all the phases are not...I remember my son being beside himself crying asking...' who squashed those fishies in a tin'....when I opened a tin of pilchards....and my daughter...adamant she was going to wear long skirts and bare feet and no make up ever!!!
its those things that disappear but hey, that's why we have memories. Truly though...do you ever look at school photos and want all those children back, right now, every one of them??Â
Hugs ?
Yeah those little things have gone! The things they said and did which made me laugh. I,too, look at the old pictures and wonder where on earth all those years disappeared to. And yeah, at times I want my babies back. Wish I could step back in time to visit them x
