Chasing the blue skies

Chasing the blue skies

I shall take off on an aeroplane and zoom across to Spain where hopefully the sun with shine without any rain.. then I will climb aboard a cruise ship to visit foreign lands, I would love to see the pyramids and walk on the desert sands.. all the while I will be happy and contented as can be far away from our winter weather chasing the blue skies you see

A train will be waiting at the station and I will wave Goodbye to there with my sun-kissed freckles and my bleached blonde hair.. I will only have a one way ticket so I won’t be coming back, off to sunny Africa to ride on an Elephant’s back.. my mission shall lead me wherever it may go, searching through the jungles with local tribesman that are in the know.. with the big yellow hot sun shining in the skies, a floppy hat on my head and shades on my eyes

I will enjoy all my jaunts never missing my home, chasing the blue skies wherever I may roam.. but all good things must come to an end, so as soon as English winter is over with the Spring around the bend.. then I shall buy another one way ticket and hop aboard an aeroplane that will bring me back home to chase the blue skies again
