The Cheeky Tongues Of Death

I took them too young
Ere their time had begun
And dashed the hopes of eternal life
Pitting them against God in strife

I took them too scared
Knowing full well why or what they feared
Given to the fullness of lust and vice
Knowing their own rebellion's price

I took them before their time
And happily claimed them as mine
For few came to me without a choice
Those slaves born of the evil boast

I took them unprepared
And waited for those who dared
To keep men bound as beast
Thus counted these as life's least

I took them unaware
As in a moment crystal clear
Some so asleep they never woke up
Others the moment their heart simply stopped
