" CHICAGO " the windy city..

There's a coolness in the wind today, Chicago sometimes get's that way
And as I make my way down Lake Shore Drive, and to the passageway
That goes beneath the street ,and leads directly onto the beach
I can feel the wind encouraging me, to participate in the city's mystery
From the beach I can see the Hancock Building & the ferris wheel at Navy Pier
The wind is turning into a calming influence, the seagulls sound so sincere
As if to let me know that what I'm feeling is a part of the people passing by
And partly the excitement of knowing that if you give the "Windy City" a try
There's nothing you can't find here, try a stroll down the "Magnificent Mile"
Where the shops at Christmas, decorate themselves in snow and happy smiles
The Shedd Aquarium, is the most magnificent aquatic experience of it's kind
And if you'd like to dine 98 stories high, "Signature Room" has windows in the sky
If you like blues music, Halsted Street has the best blues in the World
So if you feel like sun bathing or singing the blues, why not give the Windy City a whirl...
