The Child Of Atlantis

The Child Of Atlantis

The ocean of life
Is a never ending wave
And like children
We laugh and play
As we paddle our little feet
Building sandcastles chasing dreams
And in our joy we are betrayed
Marooned fallen lost
What we were but a forgotten  echoe

Monsters from the sea
Ascended from out the deep
As eyes of innocence
Weeped and wept
Kneel down now my brother
At the grave of us all
For life in death
Is a sin from God's

And will you watch
As the body's of the child
Are washed up
Ragdolls of skin and bone
On the beach of tomorrow
And as the sun sets
On the loving day
The darkness
The dark ones
From them
Deliver us

Whispers children calling at midnight
As church bells ring out across modern skies
Suffer little children to come unto me
For thine is the kingdom of Atlantis
