Personally I really like this, one of the quickest I've wrote and it packs a proper punch if you read between the lines ✌?

Children of War...

Weapons of mass destruction,
Creatures of education,
Tears of the silent,
Prodigies of a corrupt system.

Children of war,
That's what we are!
Naked and bruised,
Tossed out and used!
Children of war,
That's what we are!
The innocent are now accused,
The glorious flag gets abused!
Children of war,
That's what we are!

Puppets to the propaganda,
Slaves to the greedy warmonger,
Reasons to kill humans for land?
Humanity has a profiting plan.

Lambs dressed up to the slaughter,
Uniformed sons and daughters?
Killing machines for the suit and tie,
All in the name of a hypocritical lie! 

Children of war,

Getting that knock on the door,
Parent achingly drops to the floor,
The respect for a patriotic war,

Prodding and poking,
Society is telling a story,
While the children are choking!
