Child's Eyes

Child's Eyes

every star seen in the eyes of a child is magical

time flows like the ocean which is never perceived as dull

sadness goes by in the blink of an eye and the road ahead is a green pasture

remember to collect the good times and do not rush to mature

the parents that love us do not always allow us to do what we want

the right and wrong we learn from them is tough, but we do respond

savor this time as it fleets by in the blink of an eye, when you feel it will last forever

kindness to others, learn what you can and you will know what bad ties to sever

life is so precious we learn in time each minute is quick as a flash

reach out to the ones you cherish, for they may be the people that will always watch your back

Dear NOELLE!!......I remember the day at one of my Mother's party's ......a man took me aside and very seriously said to me "Savor these days young man, time will fly by as you get older".....and the weird thing was......it stuck in my mind VERY profoundly.........I have travelled the world looking for answers only to learn that the answers to the biggest questions are inside of a person.......I could ramble on about this forever.......but the truth will remain the same.......you've conjured up something VERY powerful and relevant here.......and I thank you for taking me back to that memory.......you're a fine writer......with a gift for conveying your thoughts with confidence......another ~ fistful-o-stars!!......a pleasure sweet poetess!!......your cyber-friend and admirer!!........T xo   ?✳✴☀
