Chinese lanterns

Chinese lanterns look lovely in the stillness of the night sky staring at these lit up little beacons way up high
But inevitably what goes up must come down once the flicker has fizzled out and they have lost their shining crown
Animal asleep in the Farmer’s fields with their soft fleecy backs and no armoured shields
They are the vulnerable ones when these lanterns alit whilst entanglement is a risk they can also get hit

Avaition is too aware from the danger that these pose as one can get sucked up into the engine and cause havoc to a hose
Yes Chinese lanterns look a welcome sight are we aware of the perils that comes with this delight
A lit lantern gets caught up in the trees and that flame amidst the forest forces an inferno raging in displease
So please think twice before you buy and fly your Chinese paper light 
Can you be sure it isn’t dangerous when it goes out of sight ?
