Choose A Book

Choose a book, put down the gun
A book, you'll find, is much more fun
A fool can shoot and nothing's gained
But if he reads, his mind is trained

So much to learn, there's always more
A reader you could never bore
For life's alive to such a mind
And joy is gleaned from each new find

A saga or a mystery
Romance or perhaps some history
A gentle yarn or twisted tale
The choice is yours, just find the sale

Such little cost for treasures great
A friend that all its life could wait
Please take the time, just have a look
Adventures thrive, so choose a book
