Wherever you walk with the white velvet flakes beneath your feet, so soft yet such a crunch with each step. 
Every breath emitting a smoke signal, saying "its Christmas" 
closer and closer to home, closer to the ones you love, and to those that love you. 
Hands clasped in pockets, scarf about your face, such a chill in the air but inside never a warmer place to be. 
Can you hear your heartbeat race faster, can you feel the anticipation with every step you take..wait! listen, aw bless the children's laughter from a distance, you can't see them but you can "hear their smiles"
fumble for your keys, so cold to the touch, you're in..your home..oh the warmth of both "love and the log fire"
