Christmas

Christmas

Often wondered
What would have been
If you didn't trade a street made of gold
For a world dusty and cold.

Often think
What would have been
If you didn't take our ever fallible form.
To be judged in the light of your amazing awe.

Often imagine
What would have been
If there was no Christmas
If true hope, faith and love had never come to pass.

Nothing beats it.
No sacrifice measures it.
No word forms nor describes it.
The joy, happiness and Mercies it give.
So merry, merry Christmas.
