Christmas angel, ( tribute to victims of drink driving ).

You are here in a frame
Upon my wall
Frozen at the age of eleven

In my heart such pain
I know you are in heaven

That evening the songs
And joys

Wrapping up your presents
And toys

Came crashing down on me
The moment i heard the news

You were lost to me
No Christmas together to be

Nor years of joys to come
My world with you

Had all so vastly come
Undone

Taken away in a moment
Of ones selfish actions

Drunk behind the wheel
Of his car

I miss you so dearly
In heaven is where you are

As i in hell
The moment my angel fell

In death
there are no retractions

And heaven is just so far
From my reach

Drink driving a penalty of death
A loss of life
Sadly still won't teach

What i wouldn't give
To go back to that day

Kiss you and hold you
Begging you to stay

What i wouldn't give
To see you turn twelve

Christmas day

Staring at you frozen
Eleven everyday

Within a frame
Upon my wall

Never to hear you laugh
Or call my name at all

My life is frozen
with you

my heartache
upon the wall

Remembering the moment
Ones selfish actions

Vastly took it all away
If only i could hold you

This coming
Christmas day

I'd give anything
For this nightmare to go away

Just to kiss
your angel face

I know your in heaven
Safe within gods grace

I just wish this frame
Could slowly let me go

So many empty frames
Upon the wall

Were waiting for you
To grow

This nightmare i fear
Shall never let me go

Just one more day
To tell you

Just how much you've grown
Sitting in my aching

Still holding that invisible
Phone.

your a bloody fool".

R.I.P all lost soul's
in the ever growing road toll's

so many deaths...time..cannot
