Christmas Cheer

Children laugh and children prance
Children swirl and children dance
Christmas time is full of joy
It's when you wish for a toy

Although at times it can be sad
There's those without a mam or dad
Christmas can be hard for many
In their pocket, there's not a penny

So use this time to be kind
Don't act to poor as if your blind
Bring together your old clothes
You'll change a tear to one that glows

Forget the time you had a fight
Take this time to make it right
Think of those who need your hand
And lift them up so they can stand

Live it up and live it full
Don't let one moment become dull
Oh Happy Christmas and lots of hugs
I hope the sherry comes in jugs!!!
