CHRISTMAS MORNING

So this is Christmas morning or so I'm told
A day of peace and the weather is cold 
Why then should people be fighting at war 
Why then should people be sleeping by a shop door

Christmas morning is a day for giving 
Be thankful for everything especially living 
It should not be about what's in it for me
Be grateful for hearing and that you can see

Let's all rejoice Christmas morning is here once more 
Remember our loved ones that's for sure 
I just wish people were not so greedy 
Spare a thought dear friends for the hungry and needy
