Fatigue hits me in strange ways
 
I can't predict its hours or days
 
It's debilitating
 
It's humiliating
 
It's an uncontrollable malaise
 
 
With no clear perousia
 
bosses think I must be kidding
 
As it's impossible to provide a diagnostic
 
even I'm an agnostic
 
and wonder if I'm fibbing
 
 
But put me on the road like this
 
and I can guarantee
 
microsleep with override
 
I'm sure to kill somebody
 
and see them on the other side
 
 
No one will believe me
 
until it's gone all flopsy
 
and whatever with my brain is wrong
 
will show in the autopsy
