Poem -

Cindy

Cindy

Cindy

time stopped when I first  saw  you
lost for words the second time  grew

your impenetrable eyes and inscrutable countenance
placed my mind to a wonderful distance

here  is a woman the world would remember
like viewing Mona Lisa on a warm day in
September

my cup is filled with clouds of memories
I can not taste or smell  the  soft breeze   blow

so  I  went to my brush and paint

to draw upon the strength within

the excitment of the source I knew

would stick to me like  glue
