" CITY STRIFE "

So gently the touch of wind
Through spires
Across city horizons
And into the Kith and Kin
Of lightly flourishing
Delicacies
Of sin
Where families so
Separated
Barely remember
One another
And blood lines corrupted
By the traffic
Of insanity's eventuality
Driven into the souls of brothers
And sisters
Weeping
At the loss of quieter times
Where the wind
Through dying treetops
Is forgotten
And buried
In city lights......

Hello Tony...
I have a question about the wind...
It gets very windy in places...
How would compare the coles windy day in Your City vs Wind chill bring the temperature down to sixty below zero in the mountains?
I love the City and I love the mountains too...
Great write!
Thank you for sharing...

Hey FEATHERS!!.........we ARE called the windy city........and we are known for how cold it can get here when the wind comes whipping off of the Great Lake Michigan........but........what most people don't know is that in the downtown area of Chicago the streets are all heated from below so the snow doesn't stand much of a chance of staying in place for too long............but when it's cold and windy and can be impossible to walk outside for long so we take the train underground...........it's a fabulous city............hope I answered your questions girlfriend.............miss you............T xo
This piece is very interesting T`, well done. Thank you for telling us about Chigago, I would love to see it, and the lake sounds wonderful. How big is it? A brilliant piece well written as always, your talent has know bounds sweety.
