CLOCKS + CHIMES

when every waning moon has
died
and every star has closed its eye
before the sun has risen high
to nudge awake the lightening sky
before the children rouse and stir
or birds chirp in the morning air
before the cockerel crow's it's call
before the clock chimes start it all
Again
Tis then
I must return
From homes
I knew of
Way back when
Where
Nanoseconds
Hold my soul
Suspended
On a rainbow's
Love
That floats nowhere
Above
Somewhere
When all the moons have died

Beautiful and sad for me Marion. Sometimes I wish I could remain dreaming. To not have to start the rituals of this existence. There was a sense of limbo in this write for me. Freedom in emptiness. I waffle sorry… wonderfully worded and the rhythm is stunning to read out loud xxx
Thanks so much Gwen...hugs xx
