Poem -
Closer To The Cure
I belive god is working on a answer.
He trying to help man find a cure for cancer.
He doesn't want us to give up hope.
He sent his spirit to help us cope.
His spirit is in the lab, the doctors office, the college.
Giving mankind more knowledge.
To find a cure.
So dont loose yourself in fear.
Take courage, Dont let your hope defer.
We've come so far, from where we were.
It wasn't to long ago.
Mabey a year or so.
That I read a news letter.
On how cancer treatments were getting better.
And how scientist claim,
They can starve cancer untill its gone.
They pinpointed, the protein cancer feeds on.
So dont loose yourself to fear.
Were getting closer to the cure.

I submitted this into the wrong contest, And I wrote for everybody that has cancer. And my father is one of them and his brother. Please dont give up hope.

Thank you and I know how awful it is my dad has been on hormone treatments, when that stopped working. They gave him radiation. Now he's on chemo. His dad and brother died from it. and now him and his other brother have it. I take care of my dad. Everyday we pray for a cure. we want to hang on to hope.
