CLOWN

So here is a little story of a jolly old clown
Always on the move goes from town to town
Make up on he's ready to perform once more
Laughs guaranteed that's certainly for sure

Behind however all the laughter and the fun too
The clown has a story that I will share with you
Abandoned by his parents at the age of eight
Ran away to the circus and that sealed his fate

Now this jolly clown turns twenty three today
Man and boy a circus performer is what I say
I wonder will this entertainer ever settle down
Or will there always be the tears of a clown
