Poem -

The Joker

Paints his face to hide any trace of sadness, time that has past doesn't go, it hurts him, seems its meant to last, for ever and ever always.

By day he earns his pay by being frownless , but soon there will be one more clown less, he's  leaving no more can he act the clown his mind is set to frown,

He puts his mind into forward gear, but then a tear,  and it slips back into reverse, oh dear this he does not deserve.

He will leave this land that once he planned his life with a wife who has gone, yes flown from the nest with a friend he thought was his best.

So bye bye mister clown, I hope when you find a memory free town, it will diminish the frown and bring back the smile of a happy clown.

Would love to live in a lighthouse, it's always bright, and if you want to move just take it with you. It ain't heavy it's a lighthouse.
