Cold To The Bone

Your heart stops beating 
Your lungs stop taking in oxygen 
Your blood stops coursing through your vein 
Your eyes stop seeing 
You're not moving 
You're cold to the bone. 
  
You can still think 
Your mind is going crazy 
You realize your dead 
But your mind is still alive 
You have to say good bye 
And let your mind drift away. 
  
You've fallen into a deep hole 
Your demons are with you 
You try to escape from their arms 
But they won't let go 
They lurch onto your dead body 
Eating away all of your fear 
You're cold to the bone. 
  
Your mind has finally died 
There's nothing left of you 
But the memories you shared 
Everyone who cared 
Grieved and said good bye. 
  
The ones you loved were not suprised 
They were not sad 
Nor were they mad 
They were quite happy for you 
You got what you always wished for 
They were glad knowing you are finally happy 
So they smile looking up at the sky knowing you are smiling back.
