Poem -

cold winter's night.

If you create a beginning,
like a birth,
Travelling roads of emotional worth,
Would you want to know the ending,
Or keep adding pages ,
for someone to burn ,
within their fire ,
upon a winter's night,

Horrible as it may seem,
Watching kindling fire,

Don't close the end without a trace,
Glimmering shine upon a face ,
the ending in their fire place,

Make your ending matter,
So your always there,
Placed your book,
And ending upon a mantle within care,

Never burning pages upon,
a cold winter's night,
Memories that cause a heart delight,
Never defined by a fireplace,
Always remembrance within your space,
Handle your life with care,
Smoke not smothering your pages air.
