COLOURS

Jealousy turned me green that night
The eve my heart turned black
Hatred broke my toxic mind
Reality's grip quite slack

Anger coloured me bright bright red
Then rage did cloak me white
So many colours, mingled, blurred
Ready now to fight

But there was no fight
For you turned quite grey
Then you bled dark red
As you fell down dead

And I stood and watched
Β As your lips turned blueΒ
In the pale pink lightΒ
Of that ghastly moon

And I hope you saw
Just beforeΒ  you died
The kaleidescope of madness
In your crazed wife's eyes
Marion Price.
