Poem -

COME....

come softly to my bed she said
her eyes a comely sleepy grey
she patted there a space beside
and eager, he did come to lay

and so they made a dream of love
and made the sky fall from above
and so they lay, and sated worn,
on fluffy clouds, entwined, till morn
