Poem -

Come back to me

You keep me in the dark
I'm down on my knees
You can relight the spark
Whenever you please

Find strength in my passion
And hope in my eyes
Run in my direction
As you shout your last goodbyes

A river keeps rolling
Along big banks of grass
It cuts through the earth
To forge its own path

Time is a gift
we'd be smart not to waste
The feelings of others
 not spared in our haste

The master construction
Of our life must begin
When the moon tickles midnight ending the month we are in

Should time be wasted on
Tonic and tricks
The moon won't be dancing
For the fog is too thick

Stand tall
Falter not
I can no longer bear
The doubt that is  creeping has sucked out my air

Waiting
Dancing
Still in the dark
My heart's barely beating
Anticipating the spark
