Linger long
Beside my neck
Let strength
And honor
Cover you well
Protecting from horror
Stealth amid prey
Kept within my arms
Over shadowed by me
A look fending off storms
Blame all on me
Resting whatever
No need the tear
Less for joys ever
My back your bench
Your hide, my pride
Your will, my way
Our love, Life's ride
Forever gone
Those lonely nights
Welcome dawn of peace
From wet pillow fights
