COMMANDMENTS OF PEACE

EPISODIC POEM OF JUSTICES

Peace

is being able

to say goodnight to your children

and know

they won’t be drug out of their beds

in the middle of the day or night

as government

officials inquisitions their parents

sometimes with their guns drawn.

Peace

is being able

to cross the borders without police

nesting

to have questions answered

and nearly putting a stop

to stateside

travel because of harassment.

Peace

is having the ability

to express yourself against corruption

when politicians are taking bribes

and almost

the entire branch of government

is ensued

by millionaire capital dollars.

Peace

Is knowing

that when you send your child to school

a highly disturbed kid doesn’t blow his life away

then killing himself after the catastrophe.

Peace

is knowing

that all races realize that they are equal

with no more frustration between them

allowing tolerance

of each other religious beliefs.

Peace

is knowing

that racial profiling is an injustice

and that people

should be able to drive a nice car

when you are black

or live in the city ghetto projects.

Peace

Is gun owners acknowledging

that weapons

are killing machines in the wrong hands

and should be controlled further.

Meat is readily available

in the supermarkets nationwide

and the hunting instinct should be put to rest.

Peace

Is knowing

that all the vested investments by corporations

actually protect the workers from fraud

and instill faith

in our

shrunken industry standards and practices.

Peace

is establishing trust

between the minorities and upper class

circumventing

the prideful act of separatism

allowing the races

of varied professions to mingle likewise.

Peace

Is knowing

that we have learned enough from the cost of War

and that no young adult should be killed

for the proxy

of government and their wants and desires.

Peace

is having a God

or Gods in any country based on Faith

and that every person

has the freedom

and rights expressed by its people.

Peace

Is knowing

that our Constitution will not be challenged

by trend setting legal council

establishing

abnormal realities on its citizens.

Peace

Is knowing

the CIA and NASA has been abolished

for no World country now trusts the U.S

and it’s prying

and impending circumstances

of self centeredness

conducive to the mistrust of all leaders.

Peace

Is trusting you

will not be killed in some drive by shooting

and the ending of racism

will forever end these bloody conflicts

Peace

is paramountly about trust.

Peace

can be attained

by letting the ego embers blow out.

Peace

is the legacy of

Martin Luther King and his pride.

Peace

is integrity.

Peace says:

Who among us possesses all these attributes?

Peace says:

the United States is far behind the ball

Peace qualifies:

that we can have a comfortable global win.

Peace confirms

that we all should have

a definable reason to love one another.
