The Common People

Through these times of poverty and power, children hunger, parents wonder,

Where on earth is the "in it together" that was promised by the minister,

As he eats his delicious dinner, the children eat there plain pasta,

Parents wishing there money would come faster, a mother’s eye full of tear,

Wondering how we got to here, god helps us all as famine is near,

This bloody government should be hanging their heads, their hearts full of dread,

As the people will stand, the people will be heard, David Cameron listen to them,

But know you won’t, you don't give a damn, as long as the cronies stay out of harm,

The old Etonians with their school tie, running the country god knows why,

There in it for themselves, they will bear the brunt, on the common people,

They will save the bankers, as there not equal, so common people i say to you,

Enough of this treachery, enough of this lie, stop David Cameron,

Hang him with his tie, the people will stand, they will take no-more,

Were in it together, don't make me laugh, Tories are sharpening their task,

Raping the country, kicking the poor, attacking the old, oh isn’t he bold,

To attack the weak, but listen Cameron I tell you now, the meek shall rise,

And bring you down, you inferior clown, you have let us all down.
