Completely blessed

I’ve always hated the rain

Unsure why others liked when it rained

Why would anyone like such weather?

I often wondered why

Rain stole my energy

Dragged my mood down with every rain drop that fell from the sky

Rain stole my soul

Stopping me from adventure

Stopping me from smiling

Stopping me from wanting to be a part of it

Focusing on the cloudy side

The rain use to take away my sunshine

How could I love the rain?

Until there’s a moment

All it takes is a moment where you may never see it rain again

For you to love the rain

Appreciating each tear that falls from the sky

Realizing the sky needs to cry too sometimes

For the first time ever

I caught myself watching the rain

Smiling and appreciating that I am here to watch it fall

Finding it relaxing and peaceful

Accepting the sky is human too

The world can’t always have sunshine

And

If it did we wouldn’t appreciate the good days

I now love the rain

I am now completely blessed.
