Complicated

This indescribable feeling

Which consumes me

Has hollowed out the cavity

Once containing my pure soul

Now corrupted by the evil,

The dreaded evil that saturates the world 

No room for love, laughter, or wholesomeness

This once lightweight body 

Now feels embedded with lead

Constant battles for warmth

But only met with a damp, chilled embrace

I am slowly freezing from within

No more attempts at finding love

To melt the cold ice encasing my slow beating heart 

Instead my impurities led me to

Build great, impenetrable walls 

Forever stowing the life I once knew

Just like that the boy you once knew 

Is no longer here

Just an uninhabited corpse
