Poem -

Confused Soul

Selfish minds crave unnecessary things,

They yearn for the embrace and acceptance from others that they don’t need.

Craving all this attention and hoping someone will submit to their needs,

Just a slave,

lingering in your shadows and awaiting on your call.

Selfish minds crave love.

A love that is unbreakable,

A love where all deepest desires are fulfilled,

A love that has no limit and is defined by the power of “us”.

That love, which the selfish mind craves, requires no selfishness,

But instead selflessness.

Selfless minds don’t need love,

But when they find it, as you do my love, may your selfish needs go away,

And your heart open for love to stay.
