Conspiring Thoughts

Let me pour out my heart,
You manoeuvring each strings carefully.
Conducting an orchestra of silent tears cascading each cheek,
Before the erie echoes of raised lungs and empty anecdotes escape lips.
Each moment we slightly align further from where our bodies used to meet.
 Our eyes heavy weights
replacing the dimples that would raise.
For we can’t get back the love lost my darling.
We can only love from here.
