Contemplation

I seek on this
Never ending journey
To find understanding
To pull back the veil of time
And to peer into
What is left of the future
Because how can one
Ever be sure of anything
And I guess I walk alone
On this road
On this quest for salvation
To find meaning in life
For I know nothing
Not even myself
Yet I am drawn to this despair
To that which I despise
How does one walk through life so blindly
With closed eyes
And I know they see me
Through their one sided mirror
And to them I look confused
Struggling to grip the point of my existence
Which I am
Yes I am
