Corvid-19: 2020

On a Friday night I used to go out with my family
Friday was the best day of the week  for me 
Coz we laughed and joked all night long til’ the early morning light with the bird chorus song
There was nothing that troubled us you see
We were fearless with freedom
and positivity

But then Corvid-19 came out of the blue
Everyone stayed at home with nothing to do
Flights were cancelled
Events was delayed
People were dying
Families was afraid

Thru those months of uncertainty
Times was so tough
There was no schooling
Everybody had enough
Yet the infection raged on
Spreading like wildfire
The deathtoll was damning as the epidecmic rose higher
Was there no end to this frightening fear ?
As the cruelness of Coronavirus couldn’t clear

This song I am writing shall not have an answer
Tho I hope and I pray like a stargazer romancer
Too early for prophesies
So too soon to guess
But we live by our government on what they address
So God speed ye’ humanity and long live the Queen
We yearn for immortality in our lands of the green
