Poem -
~ COSMIC TRUTH ~
"It's a broad topic," said the snail to the microcosm.
"I've always believed in you.
Help me to populate this earth
then we'll see what we can do!
If you can knit a sweater,
Then I can do it too,
I'll toss the stars
Up into the sky,
And help you
To become
Anew...."
Said the snail
To the microcosm,
"We have the creator's
work to do..."
And then,
For the very first time,
The world began spinning,
In greased grooves...

The existential questions that arise from bubbles has always been a fascination for me since I was about 10... they problematise time, space, reality and yet are filled with breath/spirit and shine luster into my eyes filled with wonder at their rainbowed marbeling that only lasts seconds .... a beauty that evokes butterfly wings and pecock feathers yet is far more elusive and fleeting!
I love this and I love the picture too. It’s like the bubble has created it’s own mini biosphere and the snail is peeking in. I loved reading your play on this. A lovely little journey you took us on :) x
