     Could Poetry be useless
does no one even care 
every word I put together 
every word I share  

could poetry be useless 
Is that what they say 
The words might live forever 
The author he will fade 

Could poetry be useless 
am I just wasting my time 
the words although so clever 
just simply rhyme 

could poetry be useless 
I got a few words to say 
it’s the only thing that never 
never ever ever goes away
