Counting Blessings
Everyones spirit demands happiness and security !
Our lives are too short to fall foul of despondency !
We should not let circumstances affect our nature,
Counting blessings if bad times threaten demeanour !
Think always of others who suffer, just as you may,
Keeping optimistic whenever struggles spoil a day.
You must realise what is considered most important,
With friends and family keeping the worst distant !
When everything is going well and as it should be,
Give thanks for fortune on lifes tumultuous journey.
