Counting My Blessings

At the time
When I didn't think much of it
Moments and Memories,
Gold, salt-seasoned-
What, at the time felt
To just live in the moment.

With each passing day,
Gold-turned copper, rusted,
And my memories
Faded.

But my heart will never
Forget...
What, at the time,
How, Moments-
Starlight
Tasted.

Bitter or Sweet
My heart will savour it
How-
Life and cosmic paralleled.

It was truth. It was everything.
it was universe,
I experienced.

The fish of the sea

Hey Cyme, professionally written and spoken, I got something deeper out of it, more of a feeling. It's hard to describe. Such a reflective tone does make one reflect. Either way, I enjoyed this one mate! Hope you are well!
