COVERED UP MESS

Remember the day you bought a used car?
How excited you were?
Then you realize exactly what AS IS actually means?
With all the new parts doesn't mean it's a new car?
A pretty paint job doesn't mean low miles?
New tires doesn't mean there's not an alignment problem?
Sometimes, it's better to give it away and eliminate the stress...
Sometimes, we have to realize what we saw as blessed...
Was just a covered up mess...

Hello Sis Cherie...
When it comes to reconciling there has to be complete forgiveness on both sides...
If the problems of the past is still affecting the now then it can not work...
There are those who get divorced...
Start dating each other again and they can make it new...
They marry each other again...
There are those that just can't let go of the past...
We are not the fixer of all broken things though we can break it...
Thank you for your comment and support!
Glad you enjoyed the analogy...

Hi Sis Sparrowsong
Great analogy of the broken down car compared to
a relationship breakdown ,Somethings can not be fixed
but sometimes with time spent on them and care they can
just my thoughts as i read my friend
Enjoyed this very much

Hello Sis Debs...
Sometimes, you need a real good and honest mechanic...
Sometimes, the price is too high or they only remember the bad...
But, a klunker is always a klunker...

Hi Sparrowsong ### I free myself of complaining!!
I had my 15 years old car repaired last week
( for yearly approval. APK in Dutch) , I was confused whether to pay the exorbitant amount of labor and the spare parts or buy a new one!! What do you think???
But I did get a discount!!
Good luck
Hello Leah...
There's a lot to consider...
I had a car that turned out to be a sprinkler...
It started with one leak...
It was repaired...
Then came another leak...
It kept going until I had 5 leaks and the car decided to take up smoking...
Then the power steering went out and...
It wouldn't steer at all...
All within 3 months of the first leak...
Thank you for your comment and support!

Yeah! broken cars, broken relationship
Just reconcile, if not. Go on and move forward!
I like a poem that promotes positive change
as this one does; in a material world we
let go of not much; we are hooked.
In a physical world we want, desire.
&
in a spiritual world we accept and smile
blessed are we the dead who accept
life is impermanent.
Ah Sparrow you leave feathers wherever you go
with clever poetry. LuV & gratitude Jai:)?
