Coz I was just a dandelion

I was just a dandelion n they were the roses
I flew with the wind n danced with no pretty poses
They were caressed by the wind carefully watered nurtured n raised
Through the wilds I grew n knew why I was chased
Just to be blown away by lovely faces
Had no fancy colors so never in the beauty races
Once dashed to the ground I bloomed again
Though I loved the sun n the rain
Every love was in vain
Coz roses are meant to be cared and kept in vases
Not the weeds
I was not wanted not even in traces
Got no thorns since nothing to shield
I spread wherever whenever thrown
Unloved sprouted nothing to moan
One day they were slashed n caged in rooms with their bosses
I smile with the dust
Coz I was just a dandelion n they were the roses
