5 years today a piece of you died 
To be told such news
All you did was cry
He is remembered as a hero 
Who fought for what is right 
It's so sad to think he went to win
Didn't think death was in sight 
He died fighting for peace 
And serving our country proud 
As long as you remember him 
His legacy is playing loud 
He will be watching over 
Be proud of his mum 
Watching over his children 
Embracing all they've done 
Until your time is up 
Whenever that me be 
All you need to think is 
He will be waiting there for me 
Sleep tight soldier 
As they say "at ease"
