CROMER

My mum's face filled with happiness and joy 
As she set out to Cromer with her favourite boy 
The train duly arrived at Wroxham station 
Mum's face now showing ecstasy and elation 

During the morning we looked for a bargain or three 
I was happy as I got a 1951 movie on DVD 
The morning soon went and it was time for dinner 
The fish and chips at Mary Jane's I am sure made us thinner 
After that it was selfies in the sun 
Cheesy grins and smiley faces it had to be done 

We then walked along the pier to see the Cromer lifeboat 
The Shanteymen were waiting their music fantastic as we enjoyed every note 
After the music it was ice cream time 
The fusion of flavours were delicious and sublime 
Sitting on a shop step we watched the world go by 
Our beautiful surroundings and clear blue sky 

Just before 5 Mum and I let out a sigh 
Cromer dear Cromer it was time to say goodbye 
We finished up buying a Cromer fridge magnet and a Cromer pen 
Mum and I can't wait to visit Cromer again
