~A cross upon a bun~.

~A cross upon a bun~.

Shall the rabbit bleed
Pegged to a stake

No chocolate to give
Make no mistake

Sweet was the sacrifice
Of his son and saviour
Jesus Christ

Though no sugar
Wrapped in barbs
was given
Upon his
deathlike prison

Only to rise again
Beyond the pain given

Away from the hunt
To be no more
The hunted Proclaimed

Red tulip eggs
A cross upon a bun
May resemble
More than you know

His sacrifice for our life
The blood and cross
He did bear

And chocolate not love
you wish to share???.

Ask yourself
Is chocolate rare???.

What sacrifice
have you to bear???.
