I cannot find, the strength of mind
To EVER ~ give up
" A mortal sin! ", they whispered
To take a glimpse of what awaits me
Outside,
Why not surf the waves of insanity's
Disguise,
Why not speak of it's nature in this manner
SUICIDE!!
Has a distinct ,but most poetic sense...
A kind of brave knight
Driven, by what's outside this reality
And the strength
Of mind, to obey what he considers
Bravely,
Crossing the line
Into insanity's "fare thee well",
To reality's
Duality........

I felt as though suicide was portrayed as almost romantic and beautiful but tinged with the knowledge of reality'sΒ devastation. I sensed a longing for escape but a tie that would stop that from happening and a sense of disappointment.Β Sorry if I misinterpreted your poem but I guess the beauty of poetry is your own perception of what you read?x

OMG! I am sooooo relieved!!! lol. It's the first time I've given my own perception of someone else's poetry and I was scared I would be completely off the mark and make a total twat of myself.......hahahaha. My sister, incidentally, had a completely different take on it. x
