CRYSTAL AND CLEAR

He takes his time to die
Amazed at the beauty
The Armageddon green
Cat's Eye

He lies still
His heart a soft soft flutter
Cradled in comfort
Never known before 
The satins and velvets
The silky soft paw

Only the fear was painful
Gone now
The pathway so crystal
His destiny so clear

His eyes catch a glimpse
Of the great trees above
Hears the call of his friends
Feels the song of their love

His home
Beloved and glowing
Emerald and bronze
He see's a wind stir the branches
See's some leaves weep and fall

A great foliage of friendship
Where his colours were
known
He sends thanks to the great
trees
For the shelter of home

It strikes him that
His whole life has known
green
Meadows and marshes
Flowing rivers and streams
The greens and the yellows
All the blues
Birthed between

Within the diamonds of light
No fear
No malice
No blood shed
No fight

Just the hushed lull of green
As it soothes him away
It's just nature he thinks
It is just mother's way

All things die in green
To rebirth back to blue
He feels Grace raise him
gently
Into lifetimes, anew
