Poem -

CRYSTAL FLOWERS

How we twirled In the glittering snow
Arms raised high outstretched and wide
Wanting to own that snowglobe night
That beautiful fairytale ride

How we laughed as the iced diamonds fell
Covering our joyous heads
And begged the snow gods, make it last

This swirling frozen blast

How we danced feather light
Crunched footprints in the softest snow
Delighted on a chill winds blow
In the snowy crown of night

And how we lived in those moments
Of perfect icy dance
Two glorious crystal flowers
So utterly entranced.

A Lonely Journey

Marionette,
You could write gorgeous lines about socks if you wanted to.
That was exquisite. You create beautiful visions with your words.
Fantastic title, and 'iced diamonds', so great.
Another wonderful poem.
Loved it.
Matthew.
