CURIOSITY - BY AMRITA AMBIKA BABWAH

Such a thing is frowned upon, this

unbridled need to know.

The tempest of tumultuous

thoughts, how far does it really go?

It stretches beyond theĀ imagination,

the stars and the seas.

But caution must be taken, lest it

looses from its leash.

For it often conquers logic and

good reason,

through knowledge be its innocent

intention.

Tis like the wrath of a restless vine

wrestling with the flowers of the

mind.

Yet the Greats have tamed this

maelstrom of musings, harboured

into ideas, inventions and intelligent

infusings.

But beware its wandering

ways, those thoughts in your hat,

It grasps us murderous intent,

For it has 'slain the cat...'
